Banner help?...

Hey, my banner looks fuzzy! I take ages to design my banners (on pain, maybe that is the problem?) and make it really high quality image, but for some reason when I upload it to my shop it goes fuzzy! Is this just an Etsy thing, or are there tips and ways to do it properly? xx

Can't help with the technical stuff, but to my critical eye, your banner doesn't look fuzzy at all. I think sometimes we spend too much time looking at our own work & it's easy to get perfectionist about it. My advice would be to let it go :)

Hi Grace,

To me your banner looks great, not a bit fuzzy. I noticed with ours high quality is great but when on the web a dip (dots per inch) of 72 is all you are going to see any way. I design all of our images to be at 72 dip and it seemed to help.

Looks good the way it is though. And wanted to say the Nutella necklace is so cute. Wish I knew someone who would appreciate it....

Hi! Etsy compresses files a little upon upload, so there will always be a very small difference between the Etsy file and the original file on your computer. However, most people don't notice (especially if they don't have the two files to compare) so I wouldn't worry about it - your banner looks good to me!
