At what point did think your store was successful and how did you celebrate !

As a new comer to Etsy ,
Ive had my store for 2 months and made 4 sales.
I'm working hard to build up my listing as I would like my store to be successful.

Which got me thinking when will I class my store as being successful ?
and wondered when other people think there store is successful & what they did to celebrate hitting there goal !

I think when I hit 50 sales, I realized that this was really going to be a business. It's such an exciting thing to realize. It feels amazing.

Re: At what point did think your store was successful and how did you celebrate !

I am not sure I will ever consider myself a success at this because I am just going to keep striving to do better.

However, I do feel that the tide may be starting to turn for me. I have had a shop since 2008, but Color My World Crochet only really started mid-September 2011. Since then I have had 55 sales with August being my best month by far. I had never gotten more than 6 items sold in a month. In August I had 14 items sold and my views increased by 800 over July.

I agree with Jasmine...it does feel amazing when it starts to hit you that it really is a business! :)

For some reason, it really hit me when I noticed that I have 1000 people favorite my shop. It felt very humbling to know that many people liked my art!

Re: At what point did think your store was successful and how did you celebrate !

For some reason I didn't even notice when I hit 200 or 300 sales, but I remember 100, I was really excited about it! I ran a special and gave a freebie to my 100th customer and everything.

Also I think when I finally had a month where I had more than 30 sales, meaning I was averaging 1 a day, I felt like I was really clipping along at a fun pace.

I'm still waiting to feel successful. Hopefully that'll change soon.

I would like to share in the success also. Still working on getting sales. People say they think my jewelry is beautiful and love my kumihimo bracelets but they're not selling. Any suggestions so I can be a successful seller?

Regards, Ellen
