Re: About the Packaging!

If you have fabric you could sew a fabric gift bag to put the bear in. What we do for holiday wrapping.

Re: About the Packaging!

Cardboard box full of some recycled filling. Tie a tag on the bear of some kind and include a card. Make it just like xmas!

Re: About the Packaging!

Decorate the outer box with rubber stampings and washi tape, pictures from magazines or even a painting you've done, that would really wow them!
And inside, wrap the teddy in pretty tissue paper, but make sure it's protected enough. Don't forget a thank you note!

Re: About the Packaging!

Tissue paper with a pretty ribbon would be nice. And a handwritten thank you note is always a great touch.

Re: About the Packaging!

I use tissue paper to wrap things in...it makes a nice presentation and doesn't drive costs up. I also seal things in plastic bags (I use Ziplocks) to protect them from possible water damage during their journey.

Re: About the Packaging!

Tissue paper, hand written note, business card and I always include a tiny little toy or something that I order in bulk. Maybe tie a bow around his neck with the tag? The fabric bag idea is really nice but it can drive costs up if you're not careful. I always build packaging costs in by adding an overhead to each item (25 cents, or more depending). Have fun!

Re: About the Packaging!

I usually wrap that kind of stuff in tissue paper and maybe some kind of plastic/bubble wrap just in case the box gets wet from rain it wont get whats inside the box wet.

Great ideas. I use tissue paper as well and make sure to tie a ribbon around.

Re: About the Packaging!

I wrap my cake toppers in tulle and tie them with a white ribbon, but for non-wedding items I use tissue paper.

Re: About the Packaging!

I wrap my pieces in tissue with a nice sticker....matches my tag and my return label on the outside of the box. This is a great article about packaging...

Re: About the Packaging!

I would line the box with tissue then wrap in cellophane with a bow and a tag.
I wrap mine in tissue and tie with twine. I put 2 small peppermint patties in a little bag with a thank you sticker on it to match my business card.. I then tuck these under the twine and it's ready or shipping.

Re: About the Packaging!

It's a good question but it has made me realize that as a potential customer, I'd be bummed by excess non-eco friendly packaging material.

Re: About the Packaging!

All those suggestions are awesome!...YES, it makes a difference to have the outside AS WELL as the inside something inviting to the eyes. I am known at the post office for the "girl with cute packages" ...I am trying to recycle materials, and reuse bubble mailers and such, and embellish them with origami paper or kraft paper with unique stickers, and lately had a xerox copy of an old Hawaii map, which was PERFECT for the customer since I am shipping from Hawaii....makes mail more exciting!
I agree that a gift tag somehow attached to the teddy bear would be cute, even giving it a story or a name!...BEST WISHES!
