A few pointers?

Hey hey fellow teammates! I wrote on here about a month ago needing help with my shop and I want to thank all the people for helping and giving me pointers :) I just have a few questions from you all since making the changes:

Does my shop look more cohesive?
Does my banner look any better?
And, I was thinking of adding "by Melani" at the end of my shop name in the banner. Would that just make my shop name a mouthful?

Can't wait for responses :)

I didn't see your shop prior to its renovation, but I sure like what I see now! Like the banner very much, everything in the shop looks good, photos are well done. I would recommend you NOT add more words to the name of the shop, but I really like the name it has!

Yes, your shop looks like it all belongs together. Your banner looks good and I wouldn't add anything more to it!

i wouldn't change your shop name entirely. i think its a cute name and can be used for many different things if you choose to change your direction in the future.

Thank you Jenni :) I've been wanting to incorporate art work but I think it would be better to open another shop for that. That won't be for a long long time though since I'm still starting out, lol. Decisions, decisions, what's a girl to do :)

Thanks Fate! Oh, another thing I forgot to ask; I was going to/might change my logo but I'm not sure. My friend was supposed to have ready for me about a month ago but no luck :( I guess my question is, do logos really matter?

Do you mean your avatar? I think it means a lot when it comes to being recognized quickly on the feed or in forum discussions. It's sort of like your brand. Like Lauren's polo horse. If you want to change it, certainly go ahead to one you like better but make sure it's one that stands out as "you" when people see it.

That's true Meredith. When I was starting out I used a pre-designed logo from Vistaprint and tweaked it a little but I'm not liking it. Someone else can have this logo (the one on my avatar) easily. I hope to have my friend complete the new logo soon and I'll make another thread :) Thanks everyone for all your comments!
