A Fun Way to Turn Featured Items Into Their Own Sales Pitch

I thought I would try something different on my home page with featured items. Its probably not a new idea but I thought I would give it a try. Maybe someone could use the word SALE if they sell items that would work like this. Thanks

facebook had a feature a while ago where you could put pictures in order like that

Michael, I love that! I wish I had something that would incorporate this but alas, I do not! Aren't you the same DEXMEX that a few months back asked about changing your banner and theme around, had food involved in the banner then? If so, I love the new look! If you are not the same, then, I love the new look.....

I’m the guy. I am constantly changing my banner and avatar. In fact my whole shop has changed a lot. Not sure if thats a good thing but I enjoy doing it.

looks great! Won't work for the things I currently sell, but I try to switch my featured products every month or so and usually have some sort of color scheme for them

Just be careful you don't sell out of your "M" print and another item bumps up there, or you could end up with something like "H O E KisstheCook" : )

I didn't understand what you meant, until I looked at your shop. That looks great indeed! And I actually haven't seen many people doing this on Etsy.

Of Facebook, yes, a lot of kids used to do it with the old layout, and it was pretty cool then too.

I wonder if I can come up with something fun to do with featured items...

There is another seller that does graphic services with banners and stuff. She did something really clever with her banner by continuing the design in featured items below. I wish I could remember her shop name. It was really amazing.

Yeah, the only down side is you have to keep a close eye if you sell one. You could end up with some strange words. HOE
