I opened Oct. 23rd. This is my second shop and I feel learning from many mistakes in my first shop really helped with having some success right away in this shop. The blessings of living and learning haha!

I am also old and new at the same tima as many here. I started my shop for about 1 year ago and ben working on and off - and still trying to learn more about SEO. Everyday is a little step forward - but I find SEO difficult - properly because my english is not so good. I find it so much more fun to do paintings and ceramics :-) but as I mentioned before - a little step foreword everyday is very good.
I sell art prints from my originally watercolors and I also sell ceramics ( I started out with the name TheClayPlay because I didn't think about selling prints when I started the shop.
Hope to learn a lot in here:-)

Hello! I've been selling on Etsy as Scoutaroo Paper Co since February of last year... one thing I can't seem to crack is SEO and Relevancy! So I'm hoping to glean some good advice from this team. :) I sell stationery and printables and custom artwork.

Hello everyone! I opened my Etsy shop only about 2 weeks ago so I'm definitely a newbie looking to learn all that I can to make my shop a success. I do several different needle crafts, including crochet, knit, cross-stitch, embroidery, and seamstress. Then, I also do some beading, and plan to sell some vintage items. Because of the variety of items that I hand make along with a little vintage, I decided to call my shop Daphne's Garden. A garden of delights? To Etsy shoppers, I sure hope it will come to be. ;) I look forward to a very beneficial interchange here on Team SEO & Relevancy.

Hi, my name is Linda. I opened my shop in April 2013. I had just retired after 36 years and I needed a hobby so I took out the sewing machine which I hadn't touched in a very long time. I started making totes and a friend of mine suggested that I try Etsy. So now my hobby has become my passion and here I am.

I focus mainly on making handcrafted totes, handbags, clutches, and duffel bags. I got my first 2 sales through the Christmas season and have had some inquiries but I feel that the traffic is low and that my shop is not being seen. I would like help on how to get my shop out there and seen and increase traffic and sales.

Hi! I've been on Etsy for quite a while, but new to this team. After having a very disappointing Christmas season (which is usually good for me here), and wishing to grow my business year-round anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to be seen more on Etsy again. Ever since they introduced the new Browse stuff, and changed their Search stuff, my views have dropped off, even when I add brand new items (which used to get a bunch of views right away). I figure SEO and Etsy Relevancy is what I need to learn more about! So thanks in advance! (already checked out the MYTHS post, awesome!)

HELLO SEO&RELEVANCY MEMBERS! I have been a buyer on Etsy for a very long time. My daytime job consists of photo restoration, printing, and custom picture framing. I've grown a love for the old and the new. I started my first shop Miss Sue's Bazaar a couple years ago. It consists of digital downloads only that come from my personal collection that I have restored.

Just recently I opened my new shop HoboHaven. It has vintage items, jewelry, and SOON items that I have created. I'm very concerned about putting so much time into this shop when I have so many others doing exactly what I do. But with knowing it is always slow to start up, determination and networking I am very hopeful.

I look forwards to participating, learning and doing what I can to help others from the knowledge I do have.

Hi all! I opened my shop on Jan 1st 2014. Art and creating is my passion, it has always been my dream to actually sell my work and it has taken me over a decade after receiving my Studio Art Diploma to gain enough confidence to be able to say that I am an artist. Full-stop. No other job! Exciting but scary.... I mostly work with acrylics and mixed media these days and I enjoy a variety of styles. I am really excited to learn more about SEO's and be a positive addition to the team. :)

I have been creative all my life both in business and my personal life. I love designing jewelry it is my greatest passion. I have been on Etsy for more than a year with little to show for it. I have almost quit many times. But I hate to give up. I really need help in getting views. I am at a loss. I have changed my pics, desc, and keywords more times than I can count. I have used search ads over and over to no avail. I really need guidance I hope this team can put me on the right path for SEO. Thanks so much, deb

Just joined a few hours ago. My name's Mardi and my shop has been open since October, 2013 but I've been on Etsy since 2010. I'll be 29 in early March and live in Texas (born in Missouri, though).

I've always been creative and mainly consider myself a writer (I want to someday publish the two novels I'm working on and be the "female Stephen King") but I also love to draw, paint, do graphic design, make cards, paper craft, collage, and obviously make jewelry.

Currently I'm on disability and use my shop as a way to share what I create with others and make them (hopefully) as happy as I am whenever I get something "new and shiny". What I make basically helps fund my "hobby" which is very therapeutic and calming for me and helps me with what I go through on a daily basis with my condition.

I'm still in the process of learning "what to do" and "how to be successful". I've heard nothing but great things and I've had over triple the sales "in person" as I've had on Etsy so I know what I'm selling is good - I just need help with all this technical stuff.
