Usps tacking not updating

Hello everyone! 

 And first a thank you to the Etsy staff for the invite to this special group. 

I wanted to ask does anyone else have issues with etsys tracking updates from usps nit showing up? I've had about 4 packages recnetly get delivered with no tracking i fo on either etsys tracking page or USPS. I believe it may just be an oversight by usps but it says "preshippmnet" on the tracking until it arrives which makes it look like i never shipped it.

Have had this with other platforms. If you manually enter the tracking number it sometimes works.

This happens to me way too often. It’s a waiting game to see if they will change from “pre-transit”to “delivered.” Most often, parcels with stuck tracking make it without any issue but sometimes they never update and never make it to their destination. It’s really frustrating and I’ve lost quite a bit of money on refunds and lost merch.

I use to wonder if the packages were stolen off my porch before USPS could pick them up but I’ve personally handed them two packages at the same time only to see one update like it should and the other one never update. I don’t get it.
