How to send a US customer a return shipping label from Canada?

Hi there, hoping someone can help me with this!

I am trying to purchase a return shipping label for a customer and send it to them by email, but I am in Canada, and they are in the USA...

I couldn't manage to get it to work through Paypal, as it wouldn't allow me to change the country on the "from" shipping address? I signed up at the USPS website as well, but it is not working for me either. Canada Post website won't allow me to change the "from" country and I couldn't figure out Fedex either....

Has anyone had to do a return label like this before? I am super frustrated at the moment! Thanks in advance!

I'd have thought it'd be easier to just refund them the cost of the shipping. I can't imagine that I'd be able to buy shipping from anywhere other than my own country.

Unless you have an account registered in the USA, I'm not sure you can purchase a shipping label from another country's post office.

I've tried to purchase postage from Canada Post when my mom sends me packages but since I don't have a Canadian Paypal account any more, it won't let me do it at all.

So I simply send her the funds electronically.

I unwisely told my customer I could send them a label without knowing if I could actually do it, bad decision! Next time I will just offer to pay, I did manage to swing a return label through UPS dot com, so fingers crossed it works!

If you are using UPS remember they have crazy brokering fees.
Make sure your customer writes on their customs form "Canada Goods Returning", or you may be hit with a heft fee when it arrives.!!!!!!!

I think this is going from Canada to US so that shouldn't be a problem.

No the OP is in Canada, and sent her customer in the USA a return shipping label that she managed to buy online from UPS. So the item will be shipping from the USA back into Canada for the OP to receive.

Thanks for all the help!! I did mark it as return merchandise, but it wasn't a high priced item, so hopefully I will be okay! I will know for sure next time around! Always learning something new!
