When I get together with other artisans and craft makers this topic always comes up. I believe many people will find it very useful. Here is the list, which I will be updating all the time. If you find a site that is free and a good site, I will add it to the list and put a link back to your shop! Some of the sites I've used and I'm familiar with. Others are links and suggestions I've collected from other artisans. You don't have to obviously join them all but start at the top and join a few. I bet you get the views and sales you want. These sites do work and we need to promote off of Etsy too! Happy Sales to all! * www.lilyshop.com ( new place to list your items. Just getting off the ground but people have sold items there. No listing fees. You only pay 5% of the price if you sell an item. It can remain there forever. I talked to the owner and there are no other fees. Like I said its new but worth trying. List a few items and see what happens. We need to advertise this place cause its cute. I am not telling you to leave Etsy! Just another place to list) * www.craftsy.com (you can put your craft item there) * tophatter.com/ Some of you might like it. You only pay a small amount if your item sells. It's your choice to use it or not.The auctions are quick and there are other auctions to put your items in. Read it all and see if this is for you. * craftori.com Formerly EtsyLush ( there is a free option and a paid one. You want the free one. Upload your items there) * pinterest.com (You make boards, like treasuries. People like and re-pin items. You name the boards anything you like) * stumbleupon.com (Worth joining) * Twitter.com ( you can tweet an item from your shop right on your item page. Do it all day) * Facebook.com (advertise your shop and items) * Craigslist.com (go to classified ads for sale and then to crafts) * craftseekers.com (Go to submit a site and add your shop to the free bronze listing) * craftjuice.com (list an item of yours anytime you want) * tumblr.com (Join and add items from your shop. People can follow you and you can follow them) * www.wanelo.com (when it ask if you want to sign up thru facebook say yes. When you get the next screen hit cancel and you won't have to join through FB. Great place, I get lots of views here) * youtube.com/ (Upload a video about your shop. If you have Windows Movie Maker its very easy) * plus.google.com (Like Facebook only better I think. Going to be the next Facebook) * delicious.com (Share sites you find on the web, including Etsy shops) * www.kijiji (Canada only) * www.Polyvore.com ( polyvore it's like making treasuries (hair sets/collections/templates) with the object you find there but you can put in yours as well. You can follow people and people can follow you.) * Ravelry.com (for crocheters or knitters) * thingspeoplemake.com (Sign in using Facebook. Shows your items from your shop) * coolmaterial.com/basic-listing-the-black-book/ (This site is focused on marketing to men) * digg.com (search engine) * ecrater.com/ (free online market place to sell on) * blujay.com (free online market place to sell on) * bonanza.com (free online market place to sell on) * etsywishlist.com/ (Put your Etsy items on) * reddit.com/r/etsy (Put Etsy items on) * craftcult.com/treasury_widget.php (Tools to put Etsy treasuries on your blog, website) * directory.everythingetsy.com/ (List your Etsy shop for free!) * cr8tivity.com/ (Etsy tools) * https://about.me/ (Put your info in about you and your shop) * www.attackofthecraft.com/stage/ * www.handmadeology.com (Submit an item, tip, blog etc. Great place) * www.craftersbuzz.com (links only to your shop, but can advertise single items) * www.handmadetop10.com (List an item and people will vote on it. If they click, it takes them to your item) * www.behance.net/ (You can add your Etsy shop to their site and it will take people right to your shop) * www.fineartamerica.com/ (Place to buy and sell your Art) * www.deviantart.com ( Join some groups post your pictures and link back to etsy) * www.itsbetterhandmade.com Great site to put your items on. I joined and put an item of mine on. One rule is, it has to be a handmade item! Put more than one item on! Its great. Like them on Facebook and when you submit an item to them they advertise it on their facebook page! * etsycontest.com/ (enter shops to be voted on. Get lots of exposure!) * etsytrades.com/ (if you're interested in trading this site is for you. Either way you get exposure) * rebelmouse.com ( When you add an item in your shop, RebelMouse will update without you having to add it there. Great site)

Hi I've been away from Etsy for about 15 months and am out of touch with best shipping options. I ship worldwide and have 3 tiers: Canada USA Rest of world I sell jewellery and used to use the light packet option then the small packet option. What is everyone doing for shipping similar items and what are the costs? Thanks so much
