No, it's not admin. It's just me. I grabbed this name because, well, it was there! and just as generic as the forum titles are...and, if the goddesses shine on us, will be for a while longer.

This is just meant to be a gathering place that welcomes all.

What I don't understand, is how we will be able to fit under the new wings, and what we have to do to get that presence.

I know there are a couple of other "teams" for everyone -- I joined one. But, folks, it's all in the name if we want to "game" the system, you know?

I want each and every one of you to know how much I value your words, and your lurkings. I love people I don't agree with -- they open my horizons, make me mad, and just make the world a wonderful place with everything in it. I loved that about the old forum. I could read something I disagree with, and steam, then vent...and I loved that it was there!

Janine I think you'll find that opposing opinions are great and even welcome. They are what make for great discussion. We cannot agree and still get along, heck even be friends:)

I like a big tent. I liked the forum because it's a big tent. I welcome dissent, and I hope most of us try to respect it. I'll be the powers-that-be said they did but didn't. Poor RobWhite.

Looking around trying to get the lay of the land. Good to see so many familiar avis. I am amazed an how many NC neighbors I have here. Many I knew about but others I had no idea.

Thanks to Runz for creating this little space for us and for trying to keep the "old" etsy spirit alive.

I just don't get how they can think dismantling the community/fora can be a good thing??????

Although I didn't post a lot, I sure spent a lot of time reading and enjoying the forum discussions, and am still reeling that the etsy admin will shut down the forums.

Just my comment. I can understand the importance of a shop to the owner, but as a buyer, I product shop.
I will enter your shop through a listing that I find, if you have what I am looking for. And then I will look for your shop sections to see if you have any more OF WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR. It really makes little difference to me what else you have. I rarely browse a boutique anyway, unless it is kitchen goodies or
an automobile junk yard.
