I was not aware untill a few min. ago that there was an Admin welcome here, so just for the record I will repost a comment I figured out last night shortly after I became a member,
just in case you should return

It's not about forums!
It is not about overloaded infrastructure,
it is not even about whether you care or not.
It is about the
NEW
SOCIAL
ETSY
where when you become a member of a
New Forum
then automatically
your
YOU MIGHT LIKE
becomes part of everyones on that forum
MIGHT LIKE
and that allows
MORE
page klicks
which makes things more viable for
personalised advertising
which is a function of social sharing
not overloading of infrastructure
but the NEW infrastructure
where every one loves each others
EVERYONE MIGHT LIKE
and the
SEARCH
still does not work.

Someone just asked if we have a team cheer. Down here, by the river (Rio Grande) the cheer of choice is margaritas - 2 for 1, all day, every day. (and they're usually $1, too, so much cheer can be had!)
