Good to hear that other people had successful and fun parties. Ours was insane, in a good way. We had a craft fair attached to our and it didn't start till 10am on Sat but by 9:30am there were over a 100 people already lined up waiting to get in. The number of people who came through from 10-4 on Sat was in the 1000s for sure, and I got a lot of questions about when the next one was going to be. My vendors really appreciated the Etsy readers we were sent and expressed their thanks to Etsy. I have to gather pics from others because I was running around all day, being interviewed, on the mic every 30 mins announcing demos & pulling numbers for prize drawings, checking on my husband outside who was in charge of getting the food trucks set up and parking, etc. that I only got to take one pic. Then my phone died and the cable to charge it to my portable did not want to work. I am also hoping that the College newspaper that interviewed will send me the pictures and video they took, soon.
This event was more successful than we had hoped for or event expected. It has opened the door for the guild to now have more selling events, and partner with others in the community.
