One question about "follow by mail"

I have just installed this feature and the "subscribe to" feature to my blog.

How do I know if/when/how many subscribers my blog has?

Did you add the Followers widget as well? People seem to be more appreciative of it, I think.

I only have it and subscribe via RSS.

I don't think it will tell you if anyone subscribes to you by email - I subscribed to my friend and later told her and she had no idea.

I read about someone tell they have....so many subscribers.
There must be a way to find out, wright?

A consideration first:
Having e-mail or newsletter subscribers is better than having people following on Google, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Because if that person subscribes to your articles, it means real interest.
People can also subscribe to your feeds, which is also good.

I use Feedburner for feeds, which you can see on the left column of my blog, and Feedblitz for e-mail subscribing, visible on the right column (there's a counter and a subscribing option).
My newsletters are spam free and can be listened.

I also use OdioGo for those who wish to subscribe to podcasts.
