New Blogger Needs Help

I just started blogging about 2 weeks ago. One of the things that annoys me the most is loading images 'cause they break down so often! I have to delete the broken images and upload again. This happens 2-3 times for every blog post.
Am I doing something wrong?
I'm using blogger.

From my laptop, the first image is not there and only a blue link is shown. When I click on it, it shows a gray box.
Or maybe it's not my blog but my laptop..?

Interesting - and there did not seem to be any problems with your illustrations when I clicked on your link.

How do you do your blog - direct on the Blogger site, and then uploading the pics on the same wave length (if you see what I mean). Or do you upload the pics, after clicking on HTML and then uploading them.

On www.ColdhamCuddliescalling.blogspot.com I have found that sometimes I lose my photographs if I don't change to HTML. Frankly, I don't understand what HTML is, but I've worked out a method of uploading my pics much better that way.

I also sometmes draft my blog off line, copy and paste it to the Blogger site and then slot in the pics at the appropriate place(s) via HTML.

All takes time, but one gets there in the end. It also depends on the length of my post: the longer ones are better done off line for me, because my elderly computer tends to choke if I'm on Blogger for too long!

Interesting, indeed. Seems like I'm the only person who is unable to view my own image. I just draft and upload images on the blogger site, not using the HTML's. I'll try your method in the next post - using HTML to uploading images, see if it works better for me =)

I can see all your images. Maybe there's something on your side that prevents you from seeing them properly? I've never had any problem with images on blogger. I first upload them to picasaweb and then to the blog post because I already have thousands of photos that will not fit in the designated blog folder on picasa.

Thanks for taking a look, Sonya. Will definitely try your method and Isobel's to see which works best for me =)
I'm a little relieved now that the images are visible for others, at least. Hope I'm able to figure out what goes wrong on my side.
