Each year during the month of October, Melissa at The Inspired Room hosts a "nesting party"..which is essentially a blog hop to encourage like-minded bloggers to share things they love about autumn, fall decorating ideas, etc. Melissa's website is wildly popular and last year's Fall Nesting Party blog hop had over 200 participants. Participants simply leave their links in the designated areas on Melissa's blog, and the idea is that everyone follows along and checks out the other blogger's links to their page featuring their version of the "Fall Nesting Party". Her blog gets a LOT of traffic...her Facebook page alone has over 19,000 fans.
Why am I talking about this? Because this upcoming blog hop could provide some great marketing opportunities for Etsy artisans. Particularly if you sell fall/seasonal items, decor, jewelry, art, etc. If you feature these types of items and have a blog of your own, I encourage you to sign on for the Fall Nesting Party blog hop and get in on the fun! Each week in October, The Inspired Room blog has a different autumn theme going on. You could totally show off your fall themed products in this event, get people to visit to your blog and maybe convert a few customers.

Remember, The Inspired Room is a highly trafficked blog, so by participating in this event, you're bound to get some visibility. The only thing that is frowned upon is participants posting links directly to their shops rather than to their blog/website. Be creative in how you showcase your products...show off how they can be used in fall decorating...this is your time to shine!
