EBT Discussion: What is your Blog about?

I try to create threads like this once in a while, that are not about treasuries, or new items, or selling in general, but are rather an opportunity to get to know eachother, and discover eachothers blogs. Hows that for a run on sentence?

So in as few words as possible, and definitely only one sentence, what is your blog about.

Say things like: My Daily Life, Running a Business, The life and Times of the Modern, Old Fashioned Mom, or really anything you like. If you sum up what your blogs focus is, and list it out for potential readers, what would you say? How would you set yours apart from all the others.

My blog is about being neglected, thats why I never write on it, its a subliminal message. IM KIDDING. just been nuts since the baby got here.

So be creative, leave a link to your blog at the bottom of the description, and have fun with it.

Well. I am still a newbie at this so this is really in the shake down phase. I go into panic mode when I make a mistake. I am not as computer literate as you all, but I have been in business a long time. I have tried to learn by seeing what is of interest to me. Antiques, travel, local interests. Staying away from my own opinions, controversy, and in depth personal. Eventually making money and leading people to my shops.

The question I do have is where do I go when I need help and advice, or is this team not for that purpose?

My blog is a collaborative effort between me, my best friend (who I consider a sister) and my sister. Lifestyle suits best as the general feel, but we are also trying to do more along the line of interviews/Q&A's.

I am not a seller nor are my "sisters." We just share what we like, post photos and links and hope to not only follow more blogs but to gain more followers as opposed to views so that we can do giveaways from Etsy sellers. (We will buy these - we are not looking for freebies.)

I'm looking at other's blogs and then following and posting on those blogs. I really do enjoy the "lifestyle" blogs personally, an intermingling of photos, reviews on products, movies or books, travel, shop items if an Etsy seller, pretty photos, food and recipes, etc.

My blog (with my sisters) is http://seashoresisters.blogspot.com/ and our blog design changes up often to suit a theme/party/event or season. Right now, it's in theme for an early October wine and cheese tasting event.

I am writing about my favorite "Finds" (vintage clothing, accessories, and collectibles) sold online since 2004. A sentence or two about where/how I found the item, where it shipped to and just one picture of the item along with the original description. It's a good thing many of the clothing items didn't fit or weren't a flattering color, or I'd still have them in my possession! btw, I've only picked out photos through 2006 and I have the subsequent years yet to review. This will give me plenty to write about in the future. If you check out my blog, I hope you enjoy my past finds, too!
