HI!

I made a Facebook page for my blog and shop - finally. It seems like everyone has one and I finally sat down and decided to do it. I actually have managed a few Facebook pages for my day job, but hadn't taken the time to do it for me - until now :).

Do you have a FB page? Is it just for your Etsy shop, or blog, too? What kinds of things do you post on it? i'd love to hear!

What I normally post are new product pictures, promotion codes, new blog posts. Pretty much anything having to do with the shop and blog.

My facebook page is for my brand so it covers both my blog as well as my stand alone shop. I often get sales via facebook. And yesterday I paid a mere $5 to boost a post that ended up with over 30,000 views and over 180 new fans as well as click thrus, etc. Once you build a strong following - I have over 7100 fans - you start to really see the benefits of have a page.

I have a Facebook page, blog, twitter, instagram, etc.. I post the progress of my beadwork - whether its a beaded pet pin, or elaborate bead-painting.. I have been doing it for years, and it has attracted worldwide attention:)

That's awesome Rebecca. I work in social media and one of our sites paid for an FB ad and had an amazing return too. However, I did read that FB is changing the amount of organic reach you get to encourage people to buy more ads (not surprising) - so I wonder how this will play out. Would love to see if those with large followings are affected.

I hope that having this page will be a good place for the blog, shop, and business updates to be all together.
