Thank you all to taking time to share your point of view about blogging. There is no wrong/right approach to it - it just shows how different we all are. And this is a good thing - it makes the world interesting!:)
To me blogs are different from magazines. It is much more personal, human, interactive. I can - and I do - buy beautiful design, photo or whatever my interest is - magazines. But when I visit a blog my expectation is totally different. I like to go a little behind the surface, I like the "smaller scale" in any means, the blogger's personal touch, etc... I just like the extra what a blog can give over the store bought magazines. When somebody comments on my post I do take time to visit her/his blog whenever I can and leave a comment. When I don't have time I don't read blogs. :) Of course nobody expect you to comment on everything every time - nobody does:) But without comments you just feel a little neglected. I stop follow blogs which are like a magazine; when the blog host never returns any favor to visit her followers' blog - because blogging to me is not just getting information: it is connection (even on a limited level) with people. That small personal touch is all about blogging (to me). Happy blogging everyone!:) judit
