Etsy - After Dark

Ok, so I have some questions for everyone: 1. What do you think of the new categories? 2. Is it making it more or less difficult to list your adult items accurately? 3. What categories do you use to get around the lack of adult/mature themed categories? 4. Do you have any suggestions that could be made to Etsy for other categories? My Answers: 1. I like most of them, I guess. It is more condensed and I like that some of my items will be getting a little more attention than they were before now that they can all be under one umbrella. 2. It doesn't necessarily hinder my listing abilities, as items can still be listed. However, now there isn't a catch all for some items. Take for example floggers, I would have normally put them under the category of "Everything else", followed by, "Weird". Now my only option it seems is to put items like that under, "Accessories". 3. As I just said above, I have started using the "Accessories" category for some of my products. For my restraints I am currently using the "Wedding" category and following through down to "Lingerie". But not all BDSM/Kink/Adult products fall under weddings. 4. My first suggestion would be to add an "Adult" or "Mature" category followed with such things as, "Marital-Aids", "Fetish", "Erotica", "Novelty Items". Just my opinions, feel free to add your own. How are you guys responding to / holding up with the new guidelines?    So far we're using a lot of the old (I mean, pre 2018, back when this happened before) -- "First Image is a Mature Content warning" style of posts, and working on re-shooting product photos when we have time" --- but it's definitely impacting sales here on Etsy, as compared to our other three platforms.   We've changed where our advertising on other platforms (Eros, Fetlife, etc) is pointing from Etsy to one or another of the other platforms at this point, because we never know when one of the listings is going to suddenly be suspended, and we won't be given warning.    Anyone gone to straight up-flat photo (where possible, if you sell products that aren't at all suggestive) - product photography?  I know a lot of the sites selling handmade silicone *ahem* have already had to leave the platform?    CK Team ...
