Monthly Team challenge — Theme 2018

Hi everyone!
You may have notice I didn't post the monthly challenge for january !?... Their as been less participation over the months, especially with the theme suggestions. It is getting harder for me to come up with new ideas that are interesting for the team.

I am hoping the challenge is still something we wan't to do, but I will need a bit more participation from everyone to keep it going.

Feel free to post an idea for a theme in this thread ... and remember, the more suggestions we have the more diversity of dolls we will discover.

Fairy tales inspired dolls, wedding dolls, dolls with books, magic creatures, historical characters, dolls with wigs, dark style dolls, woodland creatures

I like all of Giacondas ideas - particularly historical figures and magic creatures. I also like doll characters from classic books (non-copyright of course) and maybe something like dolls from the future? That might be challenging...
Thanks Cath for continuing to put so much energy and time into the team and the doll challenges. I love checking out the creations each month.

Oh yes, please. I think the Christmas time was very busy for all of us and now with the new year-a new begin- new ideas and new participation.
In the spring, we have Carneval, St. Valentine's Day, And of course the oncoming spring. Ideas around these themes.
Celtic dolls, Spring godess, Fairies and trolls, kobold and water sprites. Shakespear characters, book characters, carneval costumed dolls, Easter ideas, Art Deco dolls,
Yes thank you Cathlene for all your work and getting us motivated.

I think being more general and less specific. Instead of saying faeries, say something with wings. Maybe color themes, or pattern themes. Purple month or plaid month, forest green month, hounds tooth month. This will allow more people to participate. Making the theme too specific restricts people from contributing. Monsters would be nice. Flower people. Cuddly animals. Not so cuddly dollies. Ugly dolls? If you only ask for teddy bears then only people who do teddy bears can contribute. Just saying. Star

Hello ! I Just wanted to let everyone know that I had taking a small summer brake from posting monthly challenge. Summer is always a bit slow after all. I will be posting a new challenge in September.

Until then, feel free to has ideas for futur challenges !
