sale pending for 5+ hours?

I have a DC sale that says it is processing. The purchase was made over 5 hours ago. I have never seen one take this long. Anyone have any feedback or an experience like this? I
'm concerned that there may be some sort of glitch in the system. I would hate to have this affect the customer negatively because I can't ship until the order clears.

I have had one take a whole day. No need to worry just yet, also it may need to be looked at by a person and they may not be in the office yet.

I had a DC sale the other day, it took quite a while. After it finally cleared I pulled up the receipt and saw that the customer used an Etsy gift card. That might have had something to do with it...

I had a sale last night that didn't clear till this afternoon. I am glad for the extra security.

I had one yesterday and the day before - same customer, used Gift Card both times and both were hung up for processing.

Occasionally, orders take a bit longer than normal to finish. When this happens, you will receive an email from us informing you that you have a processing order. Make sure to keep an eye out for a confirmation email from us letting you know when the order has been completed.

If you ever have any orders that have been in the processing state for more than 48 hours, please contact us so that we can look into the order further.
