Welcome! Etsy is an awesome place. While you're joining teams, you may also want to check out the Etsy Success Team. Super supportive and you can ask about things other than Direct Checkout. The DIrect Checkout team is meant for the more specific task of providing Etsy Admin. with feedback regarding Direct Checkout whereas the Etsy Success Team members help with many topics regarding selling on Etsy.

I;m not a newbie to etsy, but I'm a newbie to a team. This is the first team I've joined and I want to thank you for accepting me.
I think this dc is a wonderful thing. I didn't take it at first - thinking it wouldn't make much of a difference. Well I'm here to tell you the first day I added dc to my shop, I had a sale within the hour. It's great.
