Bookkeeping - argh!

I am working on downloading my etsy direct checkout transactions and playing catch up for the busy season.

I normally - downloard the entire year. Sort by payment type and then delete paypal transactions. Sort by ship date - then subtotal every Monday.

But starting in November - it went haywire.
I think this is when they stopped holding for ship dates?
But I am missing orders in the downloads completely.
Orders from October that shipped in early November are gone.

Can anyone help me with this - there is no way to match the excel file to etsy's screen - well no report that is! I am manually cutting and pasting into the excel file - but I am still missing orders.

ARGH!
Any ideas? Other than I should have kept up with it in November? :)

Well, I am finding some of the orders - but I am having to print out the excel sheet, match up each name to the screen from shop account line by line.
I certainly hope Etsy gets some sort of reporting for us - this is very very cumbersome. And frustrating.
It has taken me over 30 minutes to get one week's deposit balanced.

I thought Paypal's reporting features were so great....but after I got most downloaded with just three reports to go, Paypal's "report center" was no longer responding. Last night it kept timing out and this morning I got on, but when I went to get my final three reports, they won't come up.

ARGGH. Sent them a message but I know they're not responsive. So irritating because this is crunch time!!

OK, at least Paypal worked again for me. Phew. I downloaded the Etsy stats but still need to filter.

I use outright, but have not linked it with my Etsy shop - I prefer to input myself instead of trusting technology:)

I wish I had that problem,,,I have a whole year to catch up to, I have 3 weeks to pay sales taxes to the state or face penalties :oD
I am just copy-pasting everything to excel the good thing is that I don't have thousands of sales I feel sorry for those who do......
