fees taken out, and then also billed for?

It's late and maybe I am confused, but I was thinking, "why is my etsy bill so high, when so many of my orders are direct checkout?" The fees are taken out before I get paid right? So why do the same transactions also show up in my bill. It looks like I am being charged twice?

set me straight. what am I missing here?

etsy takes out a transaction fee for using the DC, (just like pay pal does for using theirs) but your other charges, like the percent for selling an item, and the relisting fees are separate. Those we still pay on our monthly bill.

oh ok, so on the shop payment account, the fees listed (as being deducted) are the credit processing fee, but not the 3.5% commission fees. got it!
Thanks,
Jen

If your Etsy bill is high, that means you are selling a lot of items.

I think it's because they are not taking out the shipping and adding it to your esty bill. I'm just poking around trying to figure their math and logic out.
