What would you do???

I got an order yesterday through DC and didn't know I was signed up to take DC (since my account information was incorrect).

So I tried to figure out why Pay Pal hadn't sent me a payment confirmation and lo and behold it was because of DC. So I then scrambled to try and get my account info corrected but the problem is now I still have to wait up to 10 days to get the account verified.

What would you do as far as shipping an $80 order without actually receiving the payment? Thanks for your help folks

Etsy has received the payment and you will need to ship before Etsy will transfer the payment to your bank. Go ahead and ship the order.

I would first contact one of the DC team leaders to verify that your account information has been corrected and then ship the item.

I would ship the item. The customer paid already. But I hope the account information gets corrected speedily so that you don't have to wait long for payment!

Ship the item - customer paid, Etsy has the payment, it shows up in your shop payment account, you just have a waiting period until the money can be transferred to your bank account. Don't punish your customer with delayed shipping as they did nothing wrong and you will get the money once you correct the account information.

Your DC account is correct, even if your bank account isn't. If they say the money is there, it is -- if it isn't, they'll send you a "pending" notice. So just go ahead and correct your bank account info. It will take time to verify, but DC will just hold the money until it's done. It will NOT transfer into a bank account that isn't verified, so don't worry! :)

I contacted Etsy and got responses that were very generic (cut and paste) does anyone know if they hire out their customer service overseas? I'm not feeling comfortable in Etsy's ability to handle this,

I decided to ship and hope it all works out. But I have since deactivated my DC.

Hi Teresa,

go to "your shop" then to "shipping and payment" then click on the tab "payment methods" and unclick the DC button
