Where do I print and Invoice for Direct Checkout?

I want to print an invoice to mail with my package through DC but I cannot find a option on etsy for this.

I print the receipt AFTER I purchase the shipping label. This way the receipt prints out shipped with date and tracking number, along with all details about the sale.

You do it from the same window at the same time you get your label. If you don't get your labels through etsy, just print the receipt.

When you look at the sold order, in the upper right it will say "receipt" with a number. Click on the number and that will give you the printable version of the invoice for your package. Hope that helps.

You're welcome Karin. I figured it out after my first DC sale, printed the receipt before and didn't like that it said NOT SHIPPED on top. Got smarter the 2nd sale, printed it after I marked shipped!

haha I was the opposite. I had no idea it would mark as shipped automatically and then thought it looked strange that my invoice would say shipped since if you were able to get the receipt in the package, it was clearly not shipped and not even packed yet.

LOL, tinymishaps! So funny how everyone likes something different!

I looked at it as, clearly it was shipped, you just got the package and opened it, so for the invoice to say not shipped seemed odd to me.

I can see it your way too though! It's all how you look at it. The funniest part is that the customer probably doesn't even notice or care!
