We Love Etsy Direct Checkout

We recently had the pleasure of accepting Etsy Direct Checkout. We have never taken Paypal, thus we only accepted Checks or Money Orders. We have had several transactions through Etsy Direct Checkout and it was a total breeze.

It is truely, a blessing that Etsy Started Direct Checkout and we encourage more people to sign up. From the start of being a shop owner on Etsy, and seeing it grow larger, we believe that this can happen with Direct Checkout.

Paypal started out small and now grows massive every minute. We believe by supporting Etsy Direct Checkout, this will only make it grow stronger and perhaps offer a Debit Card situation in the future.

That being said, thumbs up to Etsy Direct Checkout. We will always support small businesses rather than massive Corporate Giants.

I was fortunate to have some of my hand-mades featured in a recent magazine article and it generated some traffic to my shop from first-time Etsy buyers. All of them have used credit card instead of PayPal to pay for their purchases. It might have turned off a buyer or two if they would have had to go through the process of both Etsy set up (not really a big deal) and PayPal set up (bigger deal). Thankfully, that second step wasn't necessary.

I love it too.

I know many are upset that they don't have access to funds right away, but I love the convenience of not having to log into PayPal and authorize a funds transfer. Thanks for the automated process, Etsy!

Loving it here too. I am sure it has increased my sales. Certain customers have told me they hate pay pal and love that Etsy now takes credit cards direct. Thank you Etsy.

I agree, I am very happy with it.

I don't mind waiting a few days for the money, hey, I am currently waiting for an echeck to clear through paypal.

I have had no problems in the 2 months I have had it. Only wish I could get it in my third shop :)

I like it too. Waiting on my money is no different than waiting on my merchant account deposits....thanks Etsy! Wish you had been around when I first started on the internet in 1999. I may have just skipped my website and started here....

I have been seeing so many negative threads in the forums posted by so many people that have not read the facts about dc. They love using their pay pal debit card but there is another charge every time they use it. Pay pal takes so much of their money if they sat down and really figured it all out they would see dc is a good alternative to give to their customers. No more having customers choose "other" for payment and then having them change their mind by the time I get the invoice from pro pay emailed to them. Often the case when they purchased when I was fast asleep. Dc is quick and easy and I am grateful that I can offer it.

I offer both pay pal and dc and so far I am about 60% choosing dc and 40% choosing pay pal. I love being able to offer the choice.
