Un-mark as shipped if paid by direct checkout??

I just accidentally marked something as shipped. Can I un-mark it if they paid using direct checkout? I see "undo" links next to some of my shipped orders, but they all happen to be orders paid for via PayPal...

nope, I did that once too and sent an email to the buyer apologizing and telling her that I would send correct tracking number the following day

Thanks Lauren. That's what I figured. I guess since the shipping is tied to the availability of the funds then we're not at liberty to change it.

** ETSY ADMIN - I'm sure we're not the only ones that this has happened to. I accidentally hit the marked as shipped button while switching from the "paid" tab to the "not shipped/shipped" tab. Seems like an easy mistake to make, especially if working on your phone as more and more of us are doing these days. To help prevent this, would it be possible to simply move the "mark as shipped" button to below where the shipping address is displayed instead of above it where it's so close to the tabs?

no, because it's tied into you receiving the money, you can't unmark it. Are you shipping soon? If so, I'd just message your buyer and explain.

Thanks Chris. Yes, actually, I will be able to ship the order soon, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem...this time. But, when I saw that I couldn't undo it, I started looking around the forums and didn't see a clear answer anywhere. Really wanted to know whether I need to be concerned about making this mistake in the future - when it might be more of an issue.
