Trying to print a label....

I posted this over in Shipping Improvements but find that they have a slow response so I am posting it here. It may be that others are having this label difficulty too?

I got my first DC order and tried to print the label just now. Everything was simple and working fine, till I clicked on the button that said "download label". A window came up in Adobe with a picture of the label. So, I hit "print" and nothing happened, hit it again, hit control P, nothing happened.

I saved the file and then printed it from there. That worked but I wonder why it didn't just print like it should have? Any thoughts? Is this going to happen every time I try to print a label?

do you normally have issues printing from within Adobe? I'd see if you can set it up to default to open in another program. Mine opens in Preview, which I print with all the time (I'm on a Mac). You might set yours to Word, etc.

That's good advice. Since I know nothing about how it works, I will pass it on to my husband. I don't see why we couldn't set it up to open in "Word" if that would help. Thanks for the quick response!

There has never been a problem before with printing something from Adobe.

Check in Bugs. It might be a browser issue. Chrome is the only browser working without any issues.

I just joined DC and am struggling with the label printing issue.

Someone on this team had posted a direct link to where you can print a label on Paypal, not connnected to a Paypal payment and now I can't find it. Of course I did not bookmark it, thinking, "oh, I will just go back to the forum..."

I would LOVE to print directly from my DC account, but a print label button is not available. Is my account too new?

Well, I found out how to get the "print label" button. You have to join etsy's Shopping Improvements team and be part of their test group. I'm trying it. My lable button appeared as soon as I joined.

Mary, you just save my life by posting Paypal's link for shipping labels. I am having troubles, I can't see the button, and I already joined the group. I think that the print label option is not yet available for Puerto Rico.
