Time of Funds being Available

I processed an order this morning. It shows as "shipped" in my Shop Payment Account. I printed the label and did indeed ship it this morning. Here's my question....

In the shop payment account, it does verify that information and states the amount... it doesn't have any time frame or say any amount is available for deposit to my bank. It shows a big zero. Is this because it won't show that till tomorrow even though it does acknowledge everything else? At what point will it say that the $ is available for deposit?

If I am remembering correctly there is a one day hold on DC payments. It was 3 days and marked shipped, but Etsy recently changed it to 1 day and marked shipped for members in good standing.

So it would seem you have done the ship part and now just have to wait for the one day.

I don't know how Etsy counts the one day. I suppose it could be 24 hours from the marked shipped OR it could have to do with their bank processing times. I have to admit I haven't watched to see.

Yes, that's how I understand it also. It would seem then that it would show funds due you with a date of either the next day or whenever it was to be available for deposit. However, it doesn't give any of this information. As I remember before, it showed the funds would be available for deposit on such and such a day. Now, that area is grayed out and doesn't show any amount or date as to when it is available. Do you know what I mean?

I went to check to see what mine looked like. I had two orders last night (less than 24 hours old--shipped this morning) and they are available for deposit. So the day must be calender day.

I don't have any shipped but not available for deposit at the moment. Maybe they eliminated showing a date since it would be available on the next day if you have shipped? In other words, the date of the money being available (in most cases) is now most dependent on when you ship not the hold so they removed showing when the deposit is available. That is a complete guess on my part.

Okay this is PinchtheMuse in my other shop. This shop has one that has been shipped that was purchased today and is not available for deposit but shows in the line item when it is available.

In the completed order activity it shows funds will be available October 4th. That would be the correct date.

The date is displayed in the line item transaction...I don't see it anywhere else.

In the available for deposit area (top left). I see the funds I can schedule an earlier deposit for and then below that the total amount in the shop payment account.

That's what I mean.... it doesn't show information on the item as to when the funds would be available. I was just thinking that I know it is not available for deposit now since I just shipped it today... but it should say some date as to when it will be available for deposit, like tomorrow.

In the bottom section that lists your transactions and when they transferred to your bank, it also has the latest transaction from today. It doesn't recognize that in the top portion of your funds due you and when that amount would be transferred to your bank. I can't help but wonder if this is a bug since before it showed when the funds would be available in that top portion. I guess I will just wait to see if it shows up later today or tomorrow?

Yeah, I would keep an eye out. If it doesn't show up tomorrow I would say contact one of the team leaders--especially if the sale amount isn't reflected in the shop payment account total.

Any completed activity (orders marked shipped) should be reflected in your shop payment account total independently of when funds can be released. That total is shown just under the available for deposit number and labelled "total account balance".

On my DC payments it doesn't show funds available until the day after the purchase.

Checked the shop payment account late last night and it looked good. I was able to see the amount available for deposit and to select the option to have it deposited the next day. All is well now. Apparently, it takes a while for this to show up.
