Still confused about waiting period to receive deposits

I have done a few CC orders and received money in my bank account. I got notification that one of my deposits was sent to my bank on 6/15. I would think it would have been deposited by today since it is the first banking day after the 15th. How do weekends work for depositing funds from Etsy?

at that point, t's up to your bank... mine takes about 2 days after Etsy initiates the deposit (the same amount of time it takes for Paypal money to be deposited, incidentally). But some banks take longer, that's why Etsy says 3-5 business days. I would ask your bank -- they can give you a better idea of when the money will be available.

It can take a bank anywhere from 2-5 business days to process a direct deposit. Chris is correct at this point I would talk to your bank just get an idea for future reference.

I believe it's been about a week since I started direct deposit and received my first payment from a customer using her credit card yesterday, I do not see deposits from Etsy into my bank account so I am unable to verify not sure what to do now. Any ideas? How do I know if customers cc is valid and payment has cleared. Is it possible they have the wrong account number for me?

Wendy if the order has cleared through Etsy than the payment is good/valid.

I am guessing by the wording of your post that you haven't been able to verify your bank account with Etsy. I think you need to contact Etsy directly for help with that.

You can turn off direct checkout until you get the verification issue resolved. It will not change anything with your first order through Direct Checkout but it does allow you to wait to use Direct Checkout until you have everything squared away with your bank account being verified.

I believe that you have to mark an item shipped before it goes over to the bank account. That might also be the problem if you have not marked the item shipped.
I also wanted to say that I believe my sales have increased since I have been able to offer the charge card option.

The first time direct checkout is used there is a 10 day wait period. After that it's 3 days from sale but Wendy is right it has to be marked as shipped before anything is initiated. Would be great if that wasn't the case because sellers have to mark shipped when in most cases they haven't been. Also if your funds become available for deposit on any day other than Monday if you don't click the early deposit link button you will have to wait until the next Monday. Clicking however does make it available the next business day. All in all it's been a great asset to my business.

Hi -
Once your account is verified - which means you received the small deposits and entered them into your account - and you receive a payment deposit, it can take 2-5 days to appear on your statement.

Wendy, it sounds like you havent received the small deposits yet. Someone from Support will reach out to you to work through the specifics. In the meantime, check the account number to make sure it's correct. If it is, don't reenter it, but if its wrong, do re-enter the correct number.
