Shipping Label Refunds

I'm enjoying the new feature allowing us to make labels directly from Etsy now. I have a question that someone may be able to help me with, though. If we print a label through Etsy even though it was paid through Paypal, are we able to send the customer a refund? Hope that someone else has run into this situation before me. Thanks!

Not sure what you are asking.

Are you asking how to get a refund on a label made through Etsy or a label made through PayPal?

Or are you asking if a customer can be refunded for their purchase if the payment was PayPal and the postage label was through Etsy?

Or are you asking about refunding shipping overages when the label is created through Etsy?

Or none of the above?

Sorry--I'm asking if anyone knows whether a customer can be refunded for part of their shipping costs when they purchased an order through PayPal and their shipping label was purchased and printed through Etsy.

Through PayPal you can do partial refunds.

I can't remember off the top of my head--specifics. Most likely if you go to the transaction on the PayPal website there is a drop down or link to process a partial refund. You want to pick refund option...not the send money option.
