How do I put a Note from Seller on Confirmation Email to Buyer?

I just made a purchase using Direct Checkout, to see how it works from the buyer's end. I got a confirmation email showing Order Details. There was a note from my Seller on it, thanking me and letting me know she'd ship within 2 days.

I'd like to create a similar note, but I've looked all over and can't find how to do it.

it shows up for me automatically when you go to mark as shipped, at least it does when I am printing the shipping label. There is a box on the left side of the screen that is a note from seller, I think it had something in their automatically, or you can change it to say whatever you want and even mark it to keep that note for future sales.

When you print the shipping label on etsy, it asks if you want to send a notification. There is a place to wrote a note.

If you print outside of etsy, there is a button next to the mark as shipped button

This was in the automatic D.C. confirmation email that I received immediately (in seconds!) after placing the order.

It wasn't produced at the time of printing a Shipping Label.

Helen, It's on your "Info and Appearance" page ~ at the bottom. You just fill that in, save it and you're set. Hope this helps, Sandra
