Refunds

Hello, I was just approved for direct checkout today and I've already gotten 3 orders. What happens though if I ever need to give a refund?

I have just been approved a few days too and wondered the same thing.

I haven't done any refunds yet, but I did notice a "manage order" button on the right hand side of the receipt, right under the buyers name. If you click on it, you'll see "issue a refund" and "cancel a transaction".

i have had to issue refunds for overpayment of shipping. i just clicked on refund and typed in the amount. then, it will show you a section on the order page with the "refund history" so you have a record.

i just got direct checkout yesterday. i often refund for shipping surplus payments. is the a place on the refund to write a note to the buyer like there is on paypal?

as i recall, there was a place for a note when i sent the refund (not just a shipping notification). and, under refund history on the receipt page, is a copy of the note i sent.

on the receipt page is it easy to tell how they paid so i will know which to refund paypal or direct checkout?

the first box, top left on the receipt page, tells you the payment method.

eta, just like the current paypal order receipt pages.

I had DC for a week now and love it. This morning I needed to do a full refund and noticed the canceled order was still listed in the Sold Orders page. Will it ever go away? Or it will stay there forever?
