Payment Method "Other"

I get quite a few Etsy 'Newbies" in my shop, and just today a new customer used payment method "other" - without really understanding what she was doing - and then requested an invoice.

But she doesn't have Paypal.

Is there a feature already (?), or can you add a feature that allows us to send a Direct Checkout Invoice to a customer so that they can use their credit card that way?

Because now I'm going to have to wait for a personal check, etc, which is a big ole drag. But YAY, a sale! So no complaints. :)

I would cancel the sale and have her re-purchase and choose etsy for checkout.

if you don't want checks, choose dc and paypal only and other will not appear as a choice

Congrats on the sale! Invoicing through direct checkout isn't an available option as of yet, however, if you have the guest checkout feature enabled in your PayPal account the buyer can pay through PayPal using their credit card as a guest. You can send an invoice as suggested by your buyer and manually mark the item as "paid".
