Partial Refund

I'm new to Direct Checkout (signed up last Thursday) and I just joined the team today. I have several questions~

1. How long does it take for a refund to show up on customers credit card? I issued a partial shipping refund just a few minutes ago and I want to let the customer know if it shows up in minutes, hours or days?

2. On one US order I was doing the shipping label it asked for my phone number (was Not international order). why did it ask for phone number ?? all other US labels haven't required phone number.

3. The 1st shipping label I tried to print my etsy bill was $92.00 and I wanted to pay that amount but it would not let me, I tried several times, it kept saying "you can pay the arbitrary of $48.00 if you want" or pay the balance of $92.00. I finally gave up and just paid $48.00. WHY didn't it let me pay $92.00??

Jennifer I'm not sure how long it takes for a refund to appear on a customer's credit card, but I would think a few days max.

As far as the phone number goes, it will not appear on a label for first class. I think the phone number is only necessary for Express delivery. That freaked me out the first time too.

I've always been able to pay my entire balance with no problem so I'm not sure what's going on there. Maybe it's a bug.

Hey Tara! Go to the order page and look about 3/4 down the page on right hand side. You'll see Manage Order in blue with a drop down arrow. If you hover over the arrow you'll see the option to issue a refund or cancel the order. Easy as pie!
