Item shipped out yesterday I wont get the money until Tuesday Oct. 9th

I shipped out an order on Monday that money was in my bank account the next day which was Tuesday. I then sold two more items to one customer on Tuesday and I shipped those items out yesterday morning which was Wednesday. Why is it saying that payment won't be released to my bank account until Tuesday 10-9-12. I thought all of the payments once they are shipped would post to our bank accounts the very next day why is this taking so long? Is it because I had more than one transaction in one week that was direct checkout?

Has anyone had this to happen to them since ETSY decided that we would get our payment the very next day? All of the transaction were shipped out and marked as shipped out in the mornings so it's not like I shipped them out late up in the evenings and then marked shipped. It was early enough where both should be marked as receiving the payment in my account the next day.

deposits are scheduled to automatically be transferred/deposited into your bank account on mondays. since this upcoming monday is a holiday the next available deposit day would be tuesday. if you have funds available now you can go to your Shop Payment Account page and schedule an earlier deposit (for today) and the funds will be transferred after 5pm EST.

No ACamour Etsy has recently changed that it's in the forums under the announcements that now your money is released and deposited the very next day. I had that to happen with the first transaction or sale that I had this week that was DC. I sold the item on Sunday so I shipped it out Monday morning via USPS as usual and when I got back home I marked it shipped sent the customer a shipping notification like I always do and the money was released and in my bank account the very next day. I didn't have to schedule it to be given to me earlier than Monday so then I had two sales which the customer bought one item the second sale the customer bought two items on Tuesday I shipped those items from both sales on Tuesday morning came back home marked them both as shipped and sent my shipping notifications as usual but it's saying that the money from those two sales will not be deposited until Tuesday. I'm just wondering why is that. I hope I have explained all of this well.

The only day Etsy automatically deposits anything is on Mondays. Your transaction aligned with the Monday deposit so it got deposited.

If you look at your shop payment account, top left there should be a dollar amount. Under that should be a schedule earlier deposit button.

The standard "Monday" deposit won't happen next week because Monday is a banking holiday. It will auto deposit next business day--Tuesday.

If you want your available money before next Tuesday just hit the schedule earlier deposit button.

I scheduled it for an earlier date. I thought that now it would be given to us the very next day once the item is marked as shipped. Did I read that wrong in the shop announcements in the forums?

I don't think you misunderstood, gilstrapdesigns - my guess is that new policy is taking a little longer to implement with every shop using DC. Scheduling an early deposit maybe a nuisance, but hopefully you won't have to do that for long.

It says funds are available for deposit. It doesn't say funds will automatically be deposited. At least that's the way I'm reading. it.

I think it's easy to get confused. Lately with so many changes coming at us all at once, it's hard to keep everything straight.

I have never gotten my money the next day. It can take up to 3-7 days to actually get into bank acct. That's been my experience with both of my Etsy shops.

It's just a matter of clicking on that option to have an earlier deposit. One click or, you can wait till the date they say if you're not in a hurry. You have the early deposit option that will give your bank the money the next business day as long as you have been selling for at least 90 days. Otherwise, you have to wait three days.

i too was approved for the next day release of funds (instead of the 3 day hold before release) and am LOVING IT. I do have to remember to click the deposit earlier button, but with my bank if it deposits Monday then I have the cash available by tuesday morning!! insane. DC is now officially faster then paypal.... which still takes 3-5 days to transfer to my bank. Now if only we could get a DC debit card......

A debit card would be great, and it wouldn't be that hard to set up. I use to work for a company that paid it's outside vendors that way. They all loved it.
