It's taking me over a week to get paid. I ship (and mark as shipped) right away, and my money isn't available to me for at least a week! I contacted etsy and waiting for a response.

So far, direct checkout stinks.

Did you just confirm your bank account recently? They hold the first payment for ten days I think. after that, it seems to be pretty quick to me.

It's been taking about a week to get my money too. There's a 3 day wait after the order is placed or til you shp it whichever is longer and then it takes 3-7 days to show up in your bank account. Paypal is much faster but my sales have increased since I started direct checkout.

Once you are past the first 10 day period you can request a deposit at any time. You don't have to wait until Monday for the automatic deposit. Then the wait for it to show up in you bank account is varied but that is the bank that you use not Etsy. I've been very please with Direct Checkout in the 6 months that I've had it.

If it is close to the weekend it doesn't show up to allow you to request a deposit. That has happened to me a few times. I think because the money is automatically sent on Monday's anyway.

Hi -
As soon as money is available for deposit, you can request a deposit - you do not need to wait for Monday. Also, once we send the money to your bank, it can take a few days to reach your statement. Some sellers report that the money is there the next day, and some report that it takes up to 3-4 days. It can depend, but once it happens a few times, it appears to stay consistent.
