Etsy automatically fills the mailing label with the listing title. I accidentally missed it and printed the label. I realized it just as I downloaded the label file.

Can't cancel the label. Can't reprint the label.

With the detailed description on the label, I figure the chances are zil and none that it will arrive at the destination.

How about the description field be set up like the mailing zip code field so we can fill it out in a manner that will allow it to get to its destination? There is no need for us to have to fill it out every time. Post office is quite happy to accept "beading supplies" and that does get through.

Also, the ability to cancel and reprint a label is really a basic need.

I agree with YayBeads. The ability to cancel and reprint a label is a great idea. It would be a big help to many sellers.

I haven't run into this on Etsy yet, but I have canceled and reprinted on PayPal many times. That's a bummer, for sure. I hope they get that ability on Etsy soon!

I wanted to cancel and reprint yesterday, hope this option gets added.

You can reprint and also request a refund for labels.

Go to your shop listings page.
Then on the left sidebar under ORDERS, click on "shipping labels."
Next use the tab at the top that says "Purchased Labels."

From there you can view all the labels you've purchased. Use the tool icon at the right to download (& reprint), print a purchase receipt, or request a refund.

Oh, and I almost forgot...

If you use the tab all the way to the right that says OPTIONS, you can pre-fill the customs description for international orders. This may solve your problem for future orders, YayBeads. =0)
