my cc was stolen.. ? re: usage while account is updating

hi all,

my cc tied to etsy was stolen. I have to update dc. while it's updating, will I be able to issue a refund if the funds have already been sent to my bank account----- since my new cc will be in the 'updating' stage.

Sorry - I had that happen 3 times in 60 days. Fun times!

Assuming your stolen card was canceled, you won't be able to refund until you've entered your new card's number - or at least that was my understanding. If you've got a customer demanding a refund before you can get your new card, maybe you could send them money via Paypal or even mail them a personal check. Hopefully your customer will be understanding ... Good luck!

Btw, you will continue to get your DC deposits though. :)
