Help getting a professional Packing Slip?

Please DC whizzes or Admin,....for the love of all things etsy, tell me there's a way to print out a text-only black and white, professional looking packing slip/ order reciept for including in my package and for my records!

With paypal, I print out my packing slip, it has all the pertinent information, takes just a smidge of ink, fits on a half sheet of paper. I print one for my records and one for the package.

I just added DC. In order to print a packing slip, is my only option "print order" from the order page?

I just love wasting ink printing out my profile pic, their profile pic, and a picture of the item, as well as other assorted nonsense (notes from shop...really?)

Please tell me there's a better way that doesn't involve resetting my printer each time for size and greyscale, or cutting, pasting and assembling.....please?

Has this been addressed somewhere already? if so, sorry... if not, why?

Would be lovely to have a streamlined packing slip, wouldn't it? I do my own packing slips the slow way by copying and pasting into a template.

If you are handy with an office program you could actually use the order csv download to automate it a bit more. I have that on my to do list for when I have some spare time. So maybe by 2015.....

Yes, at this time, your only option is to "print order". Although I really hope I am wrong and someone will come along with a super ninja secret way to print a streamlined receipt directly from Etsy.

To access the order CSV downloads:

Top Right click "Your Shop"
On the left under shop settings
click "options"
click "download data" tab

You may want to look into joining the Shipping Labels Improvements team. A streamlined receipt without thumbnails but including return policy was tested out for a day or so but then was rolled back because of sellers need of thumbnails for a visual. We are asking for an ability to select a format according to needs as a one-size-fits all receipt change doesn't work across the board.

Has there been anything new about doing a concise packing slip?
I am wasting more time and paper and ink trying to do a packing slip than anything?

Anyone come up with an easy way to do one?

I only print packing slips for international orders. I figured people were just throwing them away and if they need one they can print one from their computer.

I have my printer set on greyscale PERMANENTLY. If/when I want color, I can change to that. Works fine for the bar codes, etc., at least nothing has ever been returned to me due to the bar code (or any other reason!).

I would also love to see packing slips added to the mix. On Paypal I could do this. I like the packing slip in there because I double box my ceramics and "just in case" I would want something inside that had the mailing address. Especially important on international orders because of customs possibly opening the package.
