Embarrassed to say I can't figure out how to do shipping labels!

I am frustrated and tired. I do not see how to possibly create a shipping label from a DC purchase. I just clicked marked as shipped. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. Is it therefore too late to create a shipping label?

Basically I am asking how does one go about creating a shipping label when it's a DC purchase?

I don't use the DC labels, but I know lots of Etsians do - anyone out there able to assist Jen?

Jen you need to print the label before marking it as shipped. I believe once it's marked as shipped you can no longer print the label on Etsy and will have to go to paypal to print a label.

That's how I understand it too Nora.

To mark it shipped before printing the label is kind of like shutting the barn door after the horse has escaped. Etsy assumes that you made other arrangements for shipping and don't need to print a label since you alread marked it as shipped. Once you do print the etsy label, it marks it shipped for you along with the tracking number and notification to the customer. I love that.

Okay, thank you everyone! Clearly I messed up. I will just to go PayPal and type in all the info.

I did this a couple times too until I tried clicking Unmark as Shipped. The print label button showed up again and was able to print. Yah.

okay---how do you sell through direct checkout and print a label through Paypal?. I've never done that but think I'd rather.

Thanks Karin for the tip of marking the undo shipping. I am sooooo Happy. I also feel so stupid because I did not know that would work.

Go to multi order shipping on paypal. There is a dialog box called getting started. There it tells you how to import orders or create orders. Click on create order and fill in the info. You can use this to do your own personal packages also. If the dialog box is missing you will find it under help.
