10 day wait is over! Now what?

My 10 day wait is over and it says that the amount is scheduled to be deposited on Oct. 1. Well, it is Oct. 1 and no deposit, it still shows that same thing.

Am I supposed to do something? Is it automatically deposited? It is 1pm my time and am wondering what time of the day they are done? Am I too anxious?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't gotten an email saying that my money is on the way, either. No, you don't have to do anything. It should do it automatically.

I was just thinking that maybe it waits for the exact hour you signed up?? Maybe??

Etsy usually initiates the transfer about 4:30 pm EST. You will get an email from Etsy telling you that your money is on the way. After that, it's up to your bank as to how long it takes for the funds to appear in your account.

Don't forget that after Etsy initiates the deposit it will take your bank anywhere from 2 to 5 business days to process it. This is a function of your bank and not Etsy. As reference my bank takes 2 days so my money will me in my account on Wed.

I'm so glad to hear this too! I went to the bank today and the money wasn't there, but I went before 4:30, so that's probably why :) Thanks Nora! And I'm so glad I'm not the only one :D

I have never gotten an email from etsy telling me my money was deposited in my bank. You can just click on "shop payment account" to see when it was deposited and not wait for an email that never comes, at least for me anyway.

Mary that's odd. I always get an email telling me the funds are on the way, not that they have been deposited. It comes automatically on Monday afternoon.

I wonder why you don't get them.

Just an update: I did indeed get an email from Etsy letting me know the transfer had taken place, just as Nora had said (thank you so much Nora! You are a doll!) I have two shops and both received emails so I am very happy now and can write this "concern" off my slate and just enjoy Direct Checkout! LOVING it so far that is for sure! So glad I have signed up for it, it has made a big difference already. THanks Etsy!!

I just checked my junk - spam email and there was nothing in there either. The only thing I can figure out is that I must have just delete my email from etsy thinking it's a notification of an item that sold or telling me I have a convo.

Like I said, you can always check your "shop payment account" to find out when the money is being transferred to your bank anyway so an email doesn't seem important to me.

I have made my first sale using DC. I am past the waiting period and saw the money would be deposited on Oct 9. I clicked on the button to deposit earlier. Are there any ramifications for doing so? Seems too easy! It now says it will deposit tomorrow.

Karen, no ramifications from depositing early. I do this about 1/2 the time with my DC payments. Especially if I'm running low and supplies and need to restock.

It will take another 3-7 days to get to your bank. That is what was going on with me in the beginning. And you should get an email telling you your money is on the way.
