Deposits taking more than 1 day

Etsy no longer holding funds for a couple days....has that gone into effect yet? Cuz my deposits are still taking 2-3 days?

It still takes from 2 - 5 days to go from Etsy to your bank. My deposits normally take about 2 days from the time Etsy releases the money.

The deposits taking 2-3 days is a function of your bank not Etsy. Mine take 2 days. Etsy use to hold the money 3 days before it was available to be deposited. Mine has now been changed to 1 day. So from the time of sale to the time the money gets into my account if I request an early deposit is now 3 days for me when it use to be 5.

I have had maybe three transactions using direct checkout. I like offering the convenience to my customers. I have noticed that it is a longer wait time for the funds to be deposited in my bank when compared to paypal. I will make an effort to monitor since my last two transactions used direct checkout.
However, I see this method as an added tool to attract more buyers so to me the wait time is the cost of doing business.

Deen, i find the opposite. Etsy deposited in my acct on Tuesday and I made a PayPal withdrawl on the same day . The etsy money showed up a day earlier than paypal

Both my PayPal and Etsy deposits take about 3 days to show in my account. It must all depend on your bank.

Different banks have different hold times, you can even shop around for a faster bank.
