Anyway to hurry along the 10 day wait??

HI I have an order come through before the 10 day waiting period and thought I read somewhere where we could rushthe 10 day period along.
I already forgot how long its been but only maybe 4 days or so.
The order will be shipping today or tomorrow and I will marked shipped but between the 10 day wait and then (from what I've read) they send the money to our banks on a Monday am I correct? thanks so much Sunny

So far I hate this check out system...first off there were 2 etsy deposits made to my checking acct.in April 2012 when I first applied for this checkout...never had a sale using this method and just now I changed my email address so had to start all over again with this direct checkout as I just got a sale through this method...etsy has yet to send me the small deposit to my checking acct. to get this all officially set up and I have no idea when i will get the payment from the sale...to wait 10 days is ridiculous! And I am not willing to send the item until I know how and when I will be paid...contacted etsy help twice and have no answers yet??????

The 10 day wait is one time only, to give etsy a chance to verify that out money is going to the right account.

I was one of the original DC testers and have had it since early February. I love it.

I take the weekly deposit, but you can get them daily if you like.

I find that once a week works well for me.

The only real downside I see is that people doing cipustom work have to wait for their money

Elena, as soon as you get the transaction email, the money is there. If you look in your shop payment acct, you can see it as waiting to be shipped.

When you ship it moves down and you will see the date you can get the deposit.

If three days have passed since the sale , as soon as. You ship you can get a deposit
If three days have not passed when you ship, you can get a deposit as soon as three days have passed.

HI checking back thanks for the info I thought i read somewhere you could ask them to hurry the 10 day thing along. I have shipped the package already and marked it shipped. I will just wait and see what happens thanks to all the responded....Sunny
