I just had my first sale with Direct Checkout and I am very happy with the process. I was informed that May 1st would be the first day I could make deposits, but I had already had one sale by that time. I was online a few minutes after midnight and checked on the status. It indicated that I could now make deposits and the next one would be made on May 7th (since that would be the first Monday after activation), but I clicked the button to schedule an earlier deposit. Much to my surprise, the date was changed to May 1st! On the 1st, I received an e-mail from Etsy indicating a payment had been sent to my bank and on the 3rd, the deposit was made there (I understand that different banks have different waiting times and mine is generally very slow!!).

So...so far so good! I know this is only one sale, but the process seemed to go well for me and I just wanted to let the admins of Etsy know this and to thank them for including me in Direct Checkout, as well as inviting me to join this team.

Congrats! I agree! I really do like having DC and I believe customers really prefer to pay this way. My sales since having DC so far have all been paid by CC and not PayPal. I am grateful as well.

I am still at about a 50/50 split with Paypal/Dc, but will take all of the DC I can get. I can not say that my sales have gone up at all, but I am sure a sale will come around from time to time that would not have been possible otherwise. Even if just one sale a month, I will be happy.

Thank you Angie and griffincat! I do sincerely appreciate that there is a place where people can have small businesses like all of us. (And thank you again, Etsy!). All of my sales since then have been PayPal, but I think it's always a good idea to give customers choices!

That you for taking the time to post this! My first deposit is scheduled for today. I was curious about the time frame within which the money would actually be in my account. It might take longer for me, but reading emails like yours reiterates just how wonderful and diligent Etsy is and how much we are valued as sellers. Thanks, again.

I also love the DC, I have had one deposit made and Another is going in today. all went smoothly. I know it has increased my sales already!

Many of my sales are now DC. And I love that I don't have to schedule a bank transfer! Yay for Etsy!!

I dunno mine is in limbo and suppose to be may6 but today nothing doesn't even say I can make the deposit yet . Maybe the first one is slower?
