Trouble pricing prints? Help!

Hello!! I am newly working on my shop and am wondering if any of you could offer opinions on what you think reasonable prices would be for my prints? Because I'm feeling more than a little lost...I am offering 15x20" prints on poster board of my photography/digital-design/mixed media pieces. At the moment I have them set at $39.99, with $7 for shipping...I am concerned that I might be being over-optimistic with my pricing.

Are these prices too high?

What would you guys suggest as a reasonable price??

Thank you SO MUCH for any suggestions/advice!

Re: Trouble pricing prints? Help!

First thing you need to think is, "how much do I think my art is worth?"

If you cheapen your art, then others think that you don't see it of quality.
For a 15x20, I think that is a great price. I gives a good size while showing good detail. Calculate your cost + profit.

What you can do is offer sales like a grand opening. It entices buyers to check your shop out and also helps them decide to buy sooner.

Best of luck and Merry Christmas!
