Organizing Files

I sell printable art and with the number of items in my shop I am trying to stay as organized with my files as I can be. Im curious how others do this. When there are hundreds or thousands of items in your shop how do you keep all of your files organized so that you can easily find them? I currently have them named based on the item description ex.ABC 123 Elephants. I feel like this could get difficult as I design more items.

I group them all by theme in one file. All nautical goes in one file, all transportation in another, etc. So I only have about 15 files instead of 300. Like that when I sell a set of dinosaur prints for example, I just have to go into one file to change colors etc and then print.
