Good morning everyone!

Fall has arrived, at least according to my puppy who has begun to demand under the covers already.

A puppy...what kind...I want one. =)

Well, puppy is the 'dork' sense of the word. She's a small framed pit bull (we presume), all black so finding her in the dark is a sport.

She is all about the cuddling and licking...and if you aren't paying attention she'll either french kiss you or dig out your boogers.

Is she a good guard dog? Does she eat Republicans?

She is a barker - you'd think she and the other one would have gotten used to the same dang mailman after years...plus, anytime someone walks by - and I live on the corner lot so that is pretty often.

Dogs are so much better than people. My youngest had a pit mix...big girl...definitely alpha dog. My guy let her know he was fine with her being the boss. My daughter was devastated when her pit died, but she was old. Laura had the dog cremated, and has the ashes in a special receptacle that holds pictures. My oldest put together a slide show set to the song, Chasing Cars. I still tear up when that song comes on the radio.

No doubt! I follow a local shelter's facebook page and so many of them are pits. I can't go to the shelter because I just want to bring them all home.
