PBS has just released a documentary about Janis Joplin which in my opinion is so real and so good and so tragic just like her life. I had the album Cheap Thrills as a young teenager and we played it until it warped. So if you want to stroll down the memory road of the 60's or just discover what the big deal was about san fran in the 60's, watch this free documentary from PBS. I swear. Her voice and songs will give you chills.

I loved Janis. Her music released the "bad girl" in me.
